Alexiev Gandman was born in Buenos Aires in 1969. A graphic designer and a professional photographer, he has also taught at the University of Buenos Aires in the program of Edition. He has been a Professor of Photography at Motivarte School for six years, and a Professor of Graphic Design at ORT since 1994. Alexiev received the Luchemos por la vida award in 2002.
The Blueprints of My City, his first published album book, was selected to represent Argentina in the biennial fair of Bratislava in 2007. Alexiev has got over 60 books published in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Australia.
Lately, Alexiev leads the Giant Art section in
Art Attack, featured by
Disney Junior. What he likes most is drawing, teaching and reading good stories.
